Wylex Founded in 1897, Wylex introduced the first ‘consumer unit’ to the electrical industry, today Wylex is still leading with the introduction of a complete range of metal consumer units suitable for use in domestic household premises. From its base at Wythenshawe, through a policy of continuous design improvement, Wylex has developed a comprehensive range of Domestic, Commercial and Industrial circuit protection devices based on quality and close attention to the practical requirements of the contractor including the fundamental requirements of electrical safety embodied in the relevant British and International Standards including IEE Wiring Regulations.
